The Storehouse covers seven floors surrounding a glass atrium shaped like a pint of Guinness. Inside you'll also find a copy of the 9,000 year lease signed by Arthur Guinness on the brewery site - they won't be going anywhere for a while!
Grafton Street is one of the main shopping areas in Dublin. You're likely to find lots of musicians, buskers, and performers along here, plus you get a good vantage point of The Spire. So this afternoon we're doing a battle of the drinks. We are ordering two different spiked coffees. Sam is getting the Irish Coffee and I'm getting the Baileys Coffee. And we're going to see which one is the tastiest. What is in your Irish Whiskey? Tell us. Alright, so if you take a look over here you'll notice that there is cream on the top USCasinosGuide. And then this is normal coffee which has been enhanced with sugar. And the secret ingredient here is Jameson Whiskey. Oh, yeah! That must be good because you're chugging it. That is so good. I mean I got a big gulp of cream because it is the first sip but I also really tasted a lot of the whiskey and of course there is a really strong coffee flavor. And the sugar. It is like basically having a dessert. So I got a bit more of a feminine drink instead of whisky. This one has Baileys cream liqueur. So let's try it. Ooh, you can definitely still taste the alcohol in that. Mmmmm. Yeah, this is nice. And it is really sweet. Like Sam said about his it is almost like a dessert in a cup. And it is really nice on a cold day. So I'm just going to keep sipping. So I guess it is time for me to try yours. I have a feeling I'm not going to like it as much because I'm not a big whiskey fan. But here we go. You have cream on your lips. I like mine better for sure. Mine is sweeter. This one is a lot stronger. It's got a kick to it. And I feel like if I drank this whole thing I would tumbling by the time I walked out. So Baileys for the win? Baileys for the win. So we're here visiting the Botanical Gardens, which is a great green escape, and what we're really loving about it is because it is slightly outside of the city centre there is hardly anyone and it is also a free attraction. The National Botanic Gardens are located a few kilometers north of the city center, and you'll find it's a very tranquil place. The gardens were founded in 1795 and today they hold over 20,000 living plants. Prior to the establishment of Glasnevin Cemetery, Irish Catholics had no place of their own to bury their dead. This burial ground gave both Irish Catholics and Protestants a place where they could give their dead dignified burial, and it has since become the resting place for people of all religions and non religions. Experience Gaelic Games is a place where you can come and try traditional Irish sports like hurling and Gaelic football. It's a fun and unique way to take part in an integral part of Irish culture, and they have programs that cater to groups or independent travelers looking to join a team for the day. So you can't visit Oscar Wilde's former home because it is being used by the American college Dublin but you can come to the park right across the street and see him here for yourself. Number One Merrion Square is the former home of Oscar Wilde, and if you walk over to the park right across the street you'll be able to see a statue of Wilde himself. Right now I'm visiting Jameson Distillery. And what is cool about this place is that you can go inside and there is tours of the distillery. There is also a really cool gift shop, there is a bar, there is a restaurant.

So this week we're excited to be exploring Dublin and we're planning to spend an entire week here. This video is going to highlight 25 things to do around the city.
Dublin is where most trips in Ireland begin, so before seeing the rest of the country, Audrey and I spent a whole week getting to know the capital. When the weather cooperated we walked around the city, toured Trinity College, and visited the botanical gardens, and when it poured rain as it often does in this part of the world, we just popped into a pub for some Irish stew and a pint of Guinness. The following video will show you a few of the different things to do in Dublin, Ireland. Enjoy! So today we are back on University grounds. Thankfully not as students. We are just visiting Trinity College Dublin but the real name of it. Listen to this - it's College of the Holy and undivided trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin. Quite the mouthful, right? So we've signed up to take a tour. We're going to be visiting the grounds, the library and also setting eyes on the Book of Kells. Trinity College was founded in 1592 and it is the oldest university in Ireland. The campus is open to visitors interested in touring the grounds, and you'll also get to hear some fascinating stories of famous students, including the likes of Oscar Wilde, Jonathan Swift, and Bram Stoker. So we came all the way out to Phoenix Park on the west end of Dublin because we were told that you can see wild deer here. And we were lucky enough to spot one. So we're like quietly tiptoeing towards it and we were able to see it and it was so cool. I've been really enjoying this park. It is a great place to get outside the city center and it is massive. We've only explored a mere fraction of it. Easily one of the most popular attractions here in Dublin is the Guinness Storehouse. And I've had a friend who has visited here and told me about the experience. And it really is basically just like an experience. You go in and it is almost like a museum. You have all of these different interactive rooms, there is interactive multimedia and at the very top there is a bar where you get a complimentary pint and you have really good panoramic views of the city. The Guinness Storehouse is Dublin's most popular attraction, and it's a must-visit for beer lovers. I feel 10 years younger. Yeah but right now we're going to get some lunch next door at Shelf, which is like a surfers kind of cafe. I am Jane and I'm one-half of Shells Cafe.
My husband, Miles. Where we are now is amazing. We are across the Atlantic ocean, surf every day, and we are both like seriously foodies. We both love food and cafe culture. The west of Ireland is beautiful and stunning today to come but may be a bit behind and you couldn't get a good coffee or you know really good homemade food. So we just wanted to put like city food and that lovely vibe into the country side as well. It's nice. It's a good flat white. We don't have flat whites in America. For some reason we are missing out. I don't know why. Alright guys well we've finished lunch and we've taken a quick drive to a place called Knocknarea. It's kinda like a mountain, but it's got a lot of significance in the past and it's full of some really interesting archaeological ruins and tombs. So we are meeting up with Auriel, she's a marine archaeologist, she's going to show us why this place is so special. So tell us a bit about the history. We know that this is very significant in the age of times, Can you tell us what we are going to go see right now? So just behind us is not very much and on top is a really famous cairn and said to be the burial place of Queen Maeve of Connaught. She's sexy. She's quite pretty yeah. So a cairn is the amount of stones and is extend or covering something, so inside here is a prehistoric tomb dating back to the stone age, so it's probably by 5000 years old. How far is it to the cairn? It depends how fast you can walk. I like to stall. It's not a long way, probably about 20 minutes from here. Let's go do it. [music] This has to be one of the most spectacular sunsets I have ever seen. It's just stunning. You can see why they called it the wild Atlantic way because the winds are just blowing right off the ocean it's so rugged, just rugged natural beauty. Look at the sun raise coming to the clouds man. It's insane. You can say there is just a lot of elements at play here and actually right there. Random fact! That's Coney island, the one in New York was named by a captain that was sailing between here and New York. It reminded... Next stop actually over there. Yes straight across the Atlantic. Exactly. So we are going to go walk down the mountain and head over for a pint and some dinner. Sounds lovely. Yes. [music] Cheers! The first Guinness in Ireland. I heard they pour a good one here. Looks like it. I'm going to get used to this this week. This is going to be really nice. Wow! Whoo! That was a good meal. That was a great day. Surfing, seaweed bath, awesome cafe, epic hike to royal burial ground, amazing sunset and seafood dinner. I mean that's day one. There's still eight days more to go, tomorrow we're going down the wild Atlantic way towards Gall away We're going to be doing amazing stuff as always. So if you like the video, then give it a thumbs up! Share it with your friends and don't forget to subscribe for new travel videos twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. In the meantime stay curious, keep exploring, and we'll see you guys on the road. Peace! I'm going to show you a useful tool. You can use it's on online. It just keeps track of, for example, how many blacks have come out or have not shown for certain number of spins same with dozens columns, even odds and numbers. So this is the website. This is the home page here, just a quick rundown. It'S got the instructions visit this website.
If you want to look through and see how it works, but I'm just going to explain that quickly to you. So the program is actually here in this tab and, as you can see here, there's the top of the there's a roulette board there and, first of all, that's got all the numbers. The layout there of the board this actually here all the wide entries actually show you what's going on so this first. These relate to streets. Ok, these ones up here. So let's look at this street 13. 14. 15. Here 14 hits we could actually click on these numbers too. It shows you now there's the first spin that this street here hasn't hasn't been spun for for well, 0 spins. Ok, let's do another street, ok, so the second one actually starts the trigger. So 13. 14. 15 hasn't spun for one spin. It doesn't include the one for starting the starting trigger. So let's just do some random numbers, not choosing that street 13. 14. 15. Okay - so that's the first top top row there. This obviously shows, as you can see, that records all your numbers shows the top 10 numbers and the total spins there. You can actually generate random numbers to up to a thousand if you like, let's go run out random number generator. They also. If you look down the next one, it also records it's got one to 18, so low and high even odd red black. So altogether, they've shown up for, for example, the under 18 column. Those four times it has appeared in a row and hasn't appeared in a row at all. So why not consecutive one after the other - and it's not shown for a total of two. So let's keep hitting on the highs just to show you so see there. It'S building up they're, not showing four six seven, so that's that can be a trigger for some systems. Okay, so using these important pieces of information there, then obviously down, then he, as you can see here, it's got the undo button too. So you can take off the last spin. It acts like a calculator you restrict to the undies, as you saw, there looks like a calculator so to clear everything out, press the C here, all clear and we're back to the start, and let's do some other random numbers here, a bit of a picture example. You can see here also does the same for the dozens and the columns I tracks them also, and here we have the individual numbers. Okay. So in this example, let's just do a few more and it does the same thing at track. So three hasn't hit for 17 spins. Well, that's the most! As you can see, we started with seventh we've done 17 spins total, so it hasn't hit yet and that can help to with certain systems and even doing splits, etc. The last part of the program that does you can do individual triggers too, so you can specify we how many numbers before it hasn't shown for, for example, it's got the streets they're even odd. They even money bits they're the columns dozens, so we can plug in just say, column. Sorry dozen three one Allah wanted to tell us when hasn't hit the three spins start the trigger by clicking on the trigger and let's, let's do some random numbers and you'll see the message pop up when it hasn't been spun. Four three. So, let's now just focus on the other two dozens, so that shows up so there we go. Third, dozen third twelve has not shown in three spins. So that's that's a good indicator too. If you want to set up and give you a prompt message on the screen, so this is just a quick preview of this. It is very encouraging for me to see so many opportunities in my small-medium sized city of Greensboro NC to have so much to offer at the Community College for our citizens.
I am not sure that people understand the opportunities that are awaiting their investigation. If you are out of work, please don't assume that school is above your head. Don't assume that unless you go to a four-year school taking impressive math or programming classes that you can't get good training in 2 years or less and still earn a substantial salary with benefits. People complain about how technology is taking away jobs. "It's putting people out of work, replacing them with computers and robots". Look, the reality is that naturally, as society evolves and grows the technology will improve and the default of that means it will be applied where possible if a business is smart in running their operation. That being the case, it pointless to cry about the results of that reality when that energy could be investing in paying attention or researching where technology is taking us. Technology is a double-edged sword just like guns. You may not be able to own it in the same way as a gun, but you can use it as a tool to your advantage like a gun. It doesn't have to destroy. Opportunities exist because of technology that requires what I see as the light investment when I look at comparing it to a four year time and money investment of the more traditional type degree programs. In two years you can be certified to do Computer Security for the criminal justice system or large companies. It is also safe to assume that network security, website security, information security etc.. will be an issue for all types of companies as times goes on with more users online. As an example is Linkedin- social media tool that is still very new for many job seekers and social media users. The profile writing is one of the most common concerns of the LinkedIn user. It provides its users with significant benefits that can be utilized to improve your online resume and workforce presence. While it is a great tool to connect with other professionals and learn more about your industry, many users still have questions about how to create a Linkedin profile and set up a resume in Linkedin. We offer LinkedIn profile optimization and resume editing services to make your social account more professional. I want to keep the post short so if you interested in this article, please, continue reading in my next post! See you there! So, speaking of more users online, still only a fraction of businesses are using the internet to their advantage. This presents opportunity for anyone who learns how to be the person who can help those businesses. I am using a system to do that myself, been doing it for a couple of years. I was so impressed that I wrote a blog about that website development software which teaches you to use it for your own use or to build a website for others. Mastering such tools is also a great way to prepare for the future. You can find programs such as these at your community college also. Medical related 2 and 1 year programs are also widely available at community colleges. Technology has made it possible for so many break off specialties in medical field that you need to do a little research depending on what you want to do. For instance travel, work in your community or go to a specific area of the country. Alternatively, there may be a type of work you like over another. Explore the different courses your community college has to offer. One of the fastest growing needs in the medical field are Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Ever heard of it? Maybe not, but that's my point. Research what is available. It's a specialize career in high demand with upper level training at 4 years but entry level job certification starts with training that can be done in 2 years or less and median salary in the field is $60,000. So, if you're unemployed, don't assume there is nothing at the community college that you will find appealing to you. What I mentioned is a fraction of what I saw offered that appealed to me. I saw too much that I wanted to take actually that was more computer related. Just thought I would pass this along in case you were initially not interested in Training for a Career at your local community college. It is some of the most bang you can get for your buck. In Greensboro NC, GTCC has really impressed me with it's offerings. If there’s one ultimate secret that any seasoned professional can bestow on a college hopeful, it’s this: learn to network. Whatever your selected career path, maintaining the ability to socialize and communicate with individuals in and out of your field is often the absolute core of a successful career. For nursing students, this is even more critical – you’re entering a highly competitive field, and if you aren’t willing to invest the energy to network and make connections, you won’t likely have the same options and opportunities in the medical arena. Below are some great tips on how best to find the right people, organize your contacts, and network your way to the top of the pack. Let’s get ready to mingle!
Why network? There is no greater truth in the professional world that it’s not as much about what you know as who you know. Trying to get a job in a hospital or related field by cold-calling or applying to general want-ads can be a way to get your foot in the door, but it’s so much easier if you actually know someone on staff. A little recommendation goes a long, long way. There’s an art to networking, as you never want to appear needy or demanding, but realize that everyone – and I do mean everyone – does it. This doesn’t mean you’re using the individual, as you have to be just as ready to assist them as well (today’s college student is tomorrow’s hospital director, after all), so take heart that what comes around will go around. Now, let’s master this notion – how, when, and with whom do you network?
